Queensland Leyland P76 Owners Club Inc 2022

AGM and November Meeting

20th November 2022

Meet and Greet (new Concept)

We had a chance to catch up on the happening of club members, Alan P picked up a P76 electrical harness, while Alan D talked about his the bottom bush of the steering column.
It seems that the 3 speed manual column has a different shape bush.
Garth also showed the V8 water pump rebuild work for our Spring Creek, Member.
Early birds also got to talk to the python that was slivering across the mowed grass to his patch of bush. The crows were tormenting it.
Christian T opened his bonnet as did the others.
It was really interesting seeing the mods that have been done to the engine bays.
The Technical members of the Club, Nev and Garth showed their skills.
They assisted Christian with his carby problem that he has had for some time.
The idle of his car was a little out and it was interesting seeing Nev play with the adjusting screws, and when Christian bought out the home made rev counter that took the whole exercise to a higher levels.
I hope he got home safely.

AGM & November meeting

Vice President Troy welcome members who came to the AGM, before handing over the AGM control to Allan S.

The new President Christian T thanked Allan for his assistance,
then chaired the November meeting.
This ended up being extended due to a lot of discussion and technical reviews, before having Lunch.
We would like to thank the cook, Alan P.
Intersting we had 4 Alans and 4 P76s with a green shade.
The new Public Relation office Alan D start well with a delgation to young Dillon talking to a visitor checking out the cars.
