Queensland P76 Private Owners

Hello there.
: I thought I would make contact as I have just purchased a car that might interest your members.
: Firstly, I am already a member of the MG Car Club Qld as well as the Austin Healey Owners Club Queensland as I have related cars for both those clubs.
: I am not looking at joining any more car clubs!! hahaha But, I thought that as this car has a Leyland 4.4 V8 as the donor engine it might give some interesting reading for your P76 owners.
: I am getting more information about the car from the previous and original owner/builder who with his late father, built it from the ground up in about 1986.
: A Victorian coach builder crash repairer built the bodies and at the moment that is all I know. More info is coming. Apparently 4 were built as kits all with 4.4 V8s as the powerplant.
: 5 speed Toyota steel gearbox, Toyota Crown chassis cut and shut and all Crown mechanicals.
: I will be restoring it to pristine condition but hope to have it competing at a few hillclimbs while I am restoring it.

: She's fairly tatty really but has great potential to look very nice.
: In fact I want to run her in the hillclimb series against a cobra that competes I think this Alloy V8 will bounce it well and truly.
