What a fantastic day my first time at the Historic Leyburn Sprints and was so impressed with the whole event.
I didn't realise how big an event it was 240 odd cars and thousands of people there.
Enjoyed catching up with some of my old friends from the Qld P76 Club and watching Reg Jones and his P76 doing some fantastic times, making some of the other competitors stand up and look.
I think he was third fastest in his class against some bigger capacity V8s and especially meeting John Bowe and Dick Johnson again even though it was quite a few years ago.
Definitely going again next year !
